Dalim worked for a computer firm after completion of B.Sc. in Engineering. But at one time he got bored with his job and wanted to do something independently. Moriyam Akter, his wife already got good amount of experience in rearing cross-breed cow in the backyard of their house. Dalim decided to join his wife in production of milk for Dhaka market, which is very profitable and hence considered worth undertaking. He and Moriyam expanded the size of their dairy farm step by step. By the end of 2015 they had 15 cross-breed cows housed in two cow-sheds rented from one of his relatives. They continued the expansion of their farm. But they soon fell short of running capital. Moriyam already knew about the Pidim-run Sriti Mohila Samity/Group located in her neighborhood. She made contact with the Credit Organizer through Chairperson of the Group and eventually got the group-membership. The Branch Manager and Sector Specialist inspected their dairy farm and did the grading based on their inquiry and observation. Pidim provided Moriyam with a loan of BDT 7 lac (seven hundred thousand) accordingly in 2017. They spent the amount on acquiring additional cross-breed cows and operation of their farm. They had need for additional loan which they also got from some other source.

Besides, Dalim participated a day-long training on animal husbandry and farm management organized by Pidim. The Government Upazila Livestock Officer and a free lance Consultant conducted the training sessions. Dalim learned lot of things that he considered very useful for management of their dairy farm. He also gets advice and technical support from a private vet doctor as well as government Livestock Department. There are three full time paid laborers working in their farm. The farm now generates on average a net income of BDT 60 thousand per month.  Although the income is sufficient for maintenance of their family, they set goal to further augment their income, which can be expected they would do if they continue to persevere with the same passion and spirit. Dalim no more seeks job, he rather creates job instead. Their example is quite unique and people can learn from their experience.
